We are announcing a specialized career opening for an Estimation Engineer with proven expertise in the aluminum and façade industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the tendering and pre-construction phases by ensuring cost accuracy and competitiveness for complex projects.
This role is essential for ensuring that all pricing meets client requirements while maintaining technical standards and coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for:
- Drawing Review: Reviewing project drawings and specifications to accurately identify the required aluminum and façade systems (e.g., Curtain Wall, Sliding, Hinged systems).
- Quantity Take-Offs (QTO): Preparing comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and performing accurate quantity calculations for materials.
- Cost Development: Determining required materials and estimating the detailed costs covering materials, labor, and installation.
- Supplier Coordination: Communicating actively with suppliers to obtain updated and competitive pricing for all components.
- Quotation Management: Preparing professional official quotations and managing necessary revisions based on feedback.
- Technical Coordination: Coordinating closely with the engineering team and participating in technical meetings to finalize proposals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of specific experience in the aluminum and façade systems industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven knowledge of major aluminum systems, such as Technal, Schüco, Gulf Extrusions, etc.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Personal Skills: Demonstrated high accuracy in calculations and the ability to work efficiently under pressure and strict deadlines.
